valentine`s day at dominguez .

Today was a fun day. I woke up after ten being threatened. My grandma was on the phone talking about if I didn't clean my room, bathroom, house... she wasn't going to take me, Auri, and Tanti to the step show. I wasn't having that so I got up ( 15 minutes later lol ) and got to work. First I cleaned my room, vaccumed the whole bottom half of the house, then cleaned the bathroom and got dressed. I called my grandma and tried to go look for something new to wear to the step show... fail. So I put on something I already had in my closet and looked for somethin to eat while I waited for Auri and Tanti.

We got to CSUDH around 3:30. The place was PACKED... not. It was a ghost town. None of us knew where we were going, and I had remembered Marquelle saying it was gonna be at the Home Depot Center, but that was locked up and deserted. So we drove around the parking lot asking random people if they knew where the step show was located. When we found out where it was, Tanti, Auri and I got out the car and walked down the trail to the gym. When we got inside, we paid for our ticket... 20 bucks - ridiculous ! All I gotta say is, those people made a lot of money off that show. Then out of nowhere I see Jayshell and his big hair lol. When he passed he said hey and gave me a hug and I followed Tanti into the gym part of the gym.

The first thing I see is Marquelle waving like a crazed woman with the rest of the MHS girls. We go over to her and gave her a hug and wished her luck. "Hey honeybun!" lol, I don't know why but that had me dying.

The show started about half an hour late (justlikeblckppltobelatelol) and I was getting so sick of the hosts talking and talking and talking and talking. They needed to just introduce the teams and be gone, smh. I really enjoyed myself though. My favorites were Animo, Inglewood (boys), Westchester andd the girls of the MHS drill team. CONGRATS to Marquie (1st place girls) && Jey (3rd place co-ed).

Oh && no Valentine for me, but I honestly don't care. Never had one in the past, why start now?
